The beach along Vinaros

Fideva - one of many great meals we had at Jackie's restaurant. Vinaros is known for their fresh seafood and we had a chance to enjoy the best.

The matadors preparing for their bullfight

The bulls are tested by the banderillerros and the matadors during the beginning of the bullfight

Next a picador enters the arena with a lance, to spear the bull in the neck to wear down the neck muscles.. if he's successful the bull will hold its head and horns lower during the latter stages of the fight

Next the three banderilleros attempt to place 2 barbed sticks into the bulls flanks to further weaken the bull

I think he's pretty pissed off at this point...

The last stage of the fight shows the matador maneuvering the bull into a position where he can stab it between the shoulder blades with the muleta, or short sword

This matador woo'd the crowds. His father is supposed to be a very well known matador in spain.
